Ali Scott BSc (Hons) PG Dip CABC - Head Rehabilitation Trainer
Ali graduated from Liverpool University with a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour. In 2004 she commenced working for Sarah Heath within 'Sounds Therapy 4 Pets Ltd' working on the prevention and treatment of sound phobias in pets. In 2006 Ali joined the Behavioural Referrals team and continued her professional development by completing a post graduate diploma in Companion Animal Counselling at the University of Southampton. Ali has lectured on the Animal Behaviour degree course at the University of Chester and works closely with veterinary students at Leahurst Small Animal Hospital, Liverpool University. Ali is currently working towards becoming a Tellington Touch Practitioner and can introduce Tellington Touch as part of your dog's treatment plan. Ali has a 2 year old yellow flat coat retriever called Chewy.
Rosie Bescoby BSc (Hons) PG Dip CABC - Rehabilitation Trainer
Since graduating from Bristol University with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology & Zoology, Rosie furthered her knowledge and interest in animal behaviour with a post-graduate diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling at the University of Southampton. Rosie has held puppy and adult training classes for the past 4 years as a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and worked on a one to one basis with pets with behavioural problems. She now runs the Puppy Behaviour Problem Prevention classes with Ali. Rosie has two dogs; Freddie a 3 year old black Labrador and Spice a 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier.
Tricia Hollingshead - Rehabilitation Trainer
Tricia has been working for Behavioural Referrals since 2000. Tricia originally qualified with a B.Ed (Hons) in teaching children with severe learning and behavioural difficulties. Over the last 16 years Tricia has done a wide variety of academic, practical and workshop based courses on canine behaviour and training. She works closely with rescue societies, runs agility, clicker training and puppy classes and gives talks on canine communication and aggression. Perhaps Tricia's greatest contribution to our practice is her extensive hands-on experience involving residential rehabilitation of dogs with a range of behavioural problems. Tricia has a 2 year old miniature poodle called Raps, a 4 year old Dalmatian called Zoro, a 9 year old collie called Schnick, 3 pigs and lots of chickens and ducks!
Jayne - Rehabilitation Trainer
Jayne began training dogs over 30 years ago with her first German Shepherd who had extreme behavioural problems - this began her interest in the interaction between dogs, owners and society. Jayne lives in the Forest of Dean with her 6 dogs, and after completing her BSc with a 2.1 she went on to study canine psychology and now keeps up-to-date by going to a variety of behaviour and training CPD days. She now offers a range of fun classes, including Agility, Fly Ball and the Kennel Club Good Citizen Scheme, and one-to-one training. Jayne visits Behavioural Referrals with her stooge dogs primarily to work with dogs with behavioural problems towards other dogs.
